This year, NJBIA held a very successful Innovation Summit at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab. Many innovators, entrepreneurs and higher education partners attended.
We all know that the most important aspect of our Innovation Agenda is to bolster public-private partnerships. Bringing New Jersey businesses together with our higher education institutions is the only way to foster the creation of sustainable innovation ecosystems.
NJBIA is already preparing for the 2017 Innovation Summit. To that end, we are forming a subcommittee of the NJBIA Innovation & Technology Policy Committee to work on the planning of this event. We envision this group meeting quarterly to share ideas, identify partners and help to advance our collective innovation agenda. I am asking if you or a member of your company would like to volunteer to serve on the committee. Please call me with any questions at 609-858-9510.
We are excited about our next steps to have another successful Innovation Summit in 2017, and your input will be extremely helpful. Thank you for continuing to be a part of advancing innovation in New Jersey.
Happy Holidays!
