Attorney, municipal prosecutor and three-term Assemblywoman Marlene Caride (D-36) will be Gov.-elect Phil Murphy’s choice to be commissioner of the NJ Department of Banking and Insurance.
As 101.5 news radio reported this morning, Caride, 54, of Ridgefield, currently serves on the Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee.
“Marlene understands how government works and the importance of government having the backs of the residents it serves,” Murphy said.
