Nine New Jersey colleges have been included on U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 list of the nation’s Best Online MBA Programs.

These nine New Jersey colleges include Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken; Rowan University in Glassboro; Rutgers University-Camden; Montclair State University; the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark; Rider University in Lawrenceville; Berkeley College in Woodland Park; Caldwell University; and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck.

Additionally, five New Jersey colleges were recognized in the magazine’s annual rankings for having the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs. These schools include Rutgers-Camden; Rowan University; Kean University in Union; Berkeley College; and Rider University.

The magazine evaluated schools based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies. In addition to excelling at educating distance learners, highly ranked programs had strong traditional academic foundations based on student-instructor access, graduation rates, and robust career and financial support.

LaMont Jones, Ed.D., the magazine’s managing editor for education, said access to accurate and timely information about online academic programs is important to prospective students and professionals choosing a program that aligns with their educational and career goals.

“By evaluating factors such as student engagement and program quality, Best Online Programs rankings can help students identify which schools offer an exceptional online learning experience,” Jones said.

This was the 12th consecutive year that Berkeley College ranked among the nation’s best online bachelor’s degree programs, said Diane Recinos, Ed.D., president of Berkeley College. In addition to Berkeley’s online Master of Business Administration in Management program also being named among the list of Best Online MBA Programs list, Berkeley was also included on the magazine’s list of Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans.

“At Berkeley College, our focus is always to support our students and to help them succeed,” Recinos said after the rankings were released on Tuesday. “Being recognized by U.S. News & World Report again is an honor that reflects the hard work of our faculty and staff and the dedication of our students.”
