Stevens & Lee, a full-service law firm with 16 offices in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Florida, announced this week that attorney Randi F. Knepper has joined the Litigation Department in its Bergen County office.
Knepper is an experienced litigator in commercial, insurance and ERISA disputes. She serves as a strategic ally to fiduciaries, insurers and other corporate entities with a particular focus on life and disability insurance, financial services and health insurance disputes.
Knepper has extensive civil litigation and trial experience before various state and federal courts, particularly the Second and Third Circuits. She has handled a range of issues surrounding life, health and disability law, contract disputes, pension and retirement benefits, rescission, insurance fraud, class actions, consumer fraud and bad faith.

Knepper is an authority on the federal Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), life, health and disability law. She has edited and co-authored for American Bar Association publications, including chapters discussing the Second and Third Circuit in multiple volumes of the ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits.
Following law school, Knepper served as a judicial clerk to New Jersey Superior Court Judge Joseph C. Messina. She earned her law degree, with distinction, from the Hofstra School of Law and her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.
Knepper serves a national client base from Stevens & Lee’s expanding Bergen County office. Recent additions include former New Jersey Bureau of Securities Enforcement Chief Richard C. Szuch, elder investor fraud consultant Ronald C. Long, and former New Jersey Senator Bob Gordon, who joined Stevens & Lee Public Affairs.
