Four New Jersey companies that have worked diligently to expand their export operations will be honored at the New Jersey International Trade Awards next month, a gathering of an elite community of exporters who are creating jobs and building internationally recognized brands.

Businesspeople interested in international trade are encouraged to attend the NJITA awards at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, at the Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth to capitalize on the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across the state. The 2025 award winners will also share their experiences and strategies for success in the global marketplace during insightful panel discussions. Go here for tickets.

The 2025 New Jersey International Trade Award winners are:

  • Exporter of the Year: Dock 7 Materials Inc., of Red Bank, a global recycling business dealing primarily in agricultural, post-consumer, and post-industrial plastics.
  • Service Exporter of the Year: Pioneer Consulting, of East Windsor, an international telecommunications consulting, engineering, and market research company that advises clients on submarine fiber optic cable networks in all phases of system development.
  • Minority/Diverse Exporter of the Year: Spectra Colors Corp., of Kearny, a specialized supplier of dyes/colorants for all types of industries.
  • New Exporter of the Year: Alnima Natural Solutions Inc., of Jersey City, a company that makes high quality Halal-certified vitamins and supplements.

“We are incredibly proud of the amazing line-up of exporters who are being honored this year at NJITA,” said Susan Widmer, director at the U.S. Department of Commerce and secretary at the New Jersey District Export Council, in a statement announcing the winners on Monday.

“As in previous years, the best of the best in four critical categories will come together to share their success stories, offering a frank assessment of what works and, as importantly, what doesn’t. They will share their personal experiences and the practical advice that is invaluable for New Jersey’s new and seasoned exporters in all industries,” she said.

The New Jersey District Export Council Executive Committee chair Dawn Cecco, who is also director of distributor sales worldwide for Repêchage, thanked the judges for their work: New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) President & CEO Michele Siekerka; Commerce and Industry of New Jersey (CIANJ) President Anthony Russo, and Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) President & CEO Chris Edwards.

“Looking at this impressive list, it is obvious we owe a debt of gratitude to our judges who had the hard task of selecting this year’s winners,” Cecco said. “Our heartfelt thanks to Michele Siekerka, Tony Russo and Chris Edwards. We are excited to offer such a dynamic and relevant program as we look forward to another full house.”

The goal of the NJ International Trade Awards is to recognize and honor New Jersey companies that have worked diligently to expand their exporting efforts by penetrating new markets or by increasing their presence in existing markets – or by embracing both growth strategies. By doing so, the winners contributed to creating new jobs while improving and enhancing the New Jersey economic landscape.
