On this past weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, host Bob Considine talked with Garden State Initiative President Audrey Lane about the think tank’s new report which exposes the staggering economic costs and unrealistic assumptions behind the state’s Energy Master Plan.
“There were some people saying, ‘why are you putting out this report now?’ And even, ‘you should have done that a year ago.’ And I said, this is an issue that is ongoing,” Lane said. “And until we have an update of the New Jersey Energy Master Plan, it’s more important now than ever.
“One of the things we point out in the report is there was very little, if any, consideration for the cost of this energy initiative. And really, in good policy analysis, that is a key factor.”
