The Monmouth Ocean Development Council (MODC) will host a 2025 Gubernatorial Election Breakfast on Friday featuring Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli and state Senator Paul Sarlo (D-36) representing the Democrat in the race, Rep. Mikie Sherrill.
The event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 19 at The Dome at Adventure Crossing, 515 Monmouth Road, in Jackson. Tickets cost $50 for MODC members and $60 for nonmembers and include a full hot breakfast.

Ciattarelli is a former state assemblyman from Somerset County who is make his third run for governor. He was a certified public accountant before his career in politics and served as CEO of a medical publishing company he founded.
Sherrill is a former naval officer who has represented New Jersey’s 11 District in Congress since 2019. She is running in the Nov. 4 election to succeed Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy, who cannot run for reelection because of constitutional term limits.
