Adam Guziejewski has been named president of Katz Government Affairs, and Laura Gunn has been named senior vice president, as part of the firm's strategic leadership transition.
Carol Katz, a veteran lobbyist who founded the firm in 2003 and has served as its president since inception, will assume the role of founder and remain actively involved in the firm’s leadership and client service.
“Adam has been a driving force within Katz Government Affairs since he joined the firm in 2018,” said Katz. “His leadership, integrity, and deep understanding of the legislative and regulatory landscape make him the ideal person to guide the firm’s next chapter. I am incredibly proud of what we have built together, and I look forward to continuing to serve our clients alongside Adam and Laura in my new role.”
Guziejewski, a seasoned government affairs and association management professional with nearly 20 years of experience shaping public policy in New Jersey, said he was honored to take on the role of day-to-day leadership of the firm and build on the strong foundation that Katz had established.

Gunn, who brings over a decade of legislative, regulatory, and stakeholder engagement experience in Trenton to her position a KGA, said it a privilege to take on the new role of senior vice president at such an important moment for the firm.
