Helping women reach leadership roles in business has been an important goal for NJBIA since we launched the Women Business Leaders Forum four years ago.
By helping women develop the leadership skills they need to claim their rightful place in the C-Suite, we can build the next generation of women CEOs. I was delighted when I came across this resource from Maryville University the other day. It is loaded with practical resources for women trying to get to the next level, including a section on Tools and Resources for Women Executives, and helpful articles such as “Defining Traits for Women CEOs.”
We all know the statistics, and as women in business, we already know the reality. What I like about this page is that it gives us the tools we need to make the jump to the C-suite.
And the timing couldn’t be better. NJBIA’s Fourth Annual Women Business Leaders Forum is right around the corner. This year’s theme, Empowering Together, reflects both the progress we have made and the work that still needs to be done.
I hope you can join us on Sept. 14!
