NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka recently notched the No. 23 spot on the “2020 Insider NJ Power 100” list, the annual ranking of New Jersey’s most influential people.
The publication pointed to Siekerka’s achievements as the long-standing champion of the New Jersey business community, noting that she has been a vocal advocate for a state economic plan “seen through the lens of regional competitiveness and affordability.”
During the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis, which has reordered the perspective from which all of New Jersey’s challenges are seen, Siekerka has “served as that voice of clarity on the economic engine front, pressuring Murphy not to lose sight of suffering New Jersey businesses.”
Siekerka said it was an honor to be included among such distinguished company on the Insider NJ list.
“I extend my congratulations to all the leaders who were recognized for their tireless public policy work to make New Jersey a better place to live, work and raise our families,” Siekerka said.
