NJBIA Chief Government Affairs Officer Chrissy Buteas has been named to the “2020 Women’s Power List” compiled by Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg.
Buteas oversees a staff that tracks about 4,000 pieces of legislation, while working with various state government departments on numerous initiatives.
“I thank Senator Weinberg for being included on this list again, and it’s a great honor to be named alongside so many outstanding women who are doing incredible work for the State of New Jersey,” Buteas said.
“I am extremely proud of the work of our Government Affairs team, particularly in a very challenging year for business,” Buteas added. “We continue to work with our policymakers to lend support as needed and to provide alternatives to policies to better address the problems that the state faces, while also protecting our member companies and the 1 million jobs they provide.”
Weinberg annually issues the power list to highlight women participating in the political process outside of being an elected official.
