Citing greater reliability and several financial benefits, the Press of Atlantic City has concluded that Exelon’s acquisition of Pepco “showered its areas and customers with benefits.” In a Jan. 26 editorial following a meeting with the utility’s executives, the Press said, “Now that Atlantic City Electric customers are among the roughly 10 million making Exelon the largest regulated U.S. utility, the benefits will continue…”
