New Jersey businesses are invited to take part in a virtual briefing for the state’s Workplace Literacy and Basic Skills Program.

This program provides free training at New Jersey Community Colleges to enhance technology and basic skills for incumbent workers. The virtual briefing will take place on Wednesday, March 16, at 2 p.m. Register here.

In addition, the program provides training in English as a second language and Spanish in the workplace to ensure your business has a well-trained and highly skilled workforce.

Over the years of the program, 11,000 employers and nearly 200,000 employees have been assisted.

The program is offered by New Jersey Community Colleges across the state in a partnership between NJBIA and the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, with funding from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

A brochure and additional information and program requirements are available at njworkforce.org.

On the website, you can also find the name and contact information for a representative at your local community college for additional support and program registration.
