Berkeley College recently announced the appointment of Linda Mauro as Associate Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, where she will lead efforts to expand the College’s international presence and strengthen global initiatives.

With students from nearly 50 countries, the college offers study abroad opportunities that integrate experiential learning and a diverse academic community.

“At Berkeley College, we know that higher education plays a pivotal role in connecting students across borders, cultures, and industries,” Mauro said. “I look forward to strengthening our international partnerships through initiatives that open doors and create meaningful learning opportunities that prepare students to succeed in an interconnected world.”

Mauro holds nearly 25 years of experience in campus operations, including oversight of the Student Success, Support Services, and Enrollment Management departments, where she has focused on fostering opportunities for cultural immersion and academic exchange.

She created and led the launch of the College’s Designer-in-Residence program, bridging academia and industry to enhance students’ experiential learning from fashion professionals. This program, now in its third year, has provided international and domestic students with hands-on career preparation in the fashion industry through experiences like New York Fashion Week.

Mauro began her career at Berkeley College in 2001 as the Director of Adult Admissions at the New York City campus. In 2003, she was promoted to Associate Vice President, Enrollment, overseeing Admissions at various campuses in New York and New Jersey.

She served as the Campus Operating Officer of the Paramus campus from July 2012 to August 2014 and the Woodland Park campus from 2010 to June 2021. Prior to joining Berkeley College, Mauro worked in sales and marketing in the fashion industry.

Mauro served on the Board of Directors for the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce from 2010 to 2021. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University Jack Welch Management Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Advertising and Communications from SUNY Oneonta and the Fashion Institute of Technology.

She earned an Executive Leadership Certification from Cornell University in 2019.
