Berkeley College will commemorate the vital role of women in American history and current trailblazers in various fields with Women’s History Month events held at its campuses in New York, New Jersey, and online during the month of March.  

Feel the Teal: Women Celebrating Women
Friday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Berkeley College, 44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park, NJ 

Business leaders are invited to join the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners and Berkeley College for a special tribute honoring the late Willa Edgerton-Chisler. Networking and light refreshments will follow. This event is open to the public, but registration is required here. 

12th Annual Women’s History Month Celebration – Trailblazers: Women of Courage
Monday, March 4 at 10 a.m.
Berkeley College, 44 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park, NJ 

A panel of successful women will share the challenges they have overcome and their victories. Speakers include Lizbeth DeJesus, Woodbridge Councilwoman; Rosie Grant, Paterson Education Fund Executive Director; Cassandra “Sandi” Lazzara, Passaic County Commissioner; LaMonica McIver, Newark Council President; and Senator Holly Schepisi (R-39). This year’s event will honor the late Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver, a celebrated role model. This event is open to the public, but registration is required here. 

iHeart Media International Women’s Day
Tuesday, March 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Berkeley College will be the Lead Higher Education Partner for iHeart Media’s 2nd Annual International Women’s Day event. The event will feature networking opportunities and panel discussions with influential women leaders. Diane Recinos, EdD, president of Berkeley College, will present the Rising Star Award to an outstanding student leader. The event will be livestreamed.

Empowering Lives, Breaking Barriers: Unveiling the Unseen Struggle of Endometriosis

This empowering and informative event is dedicated to raising awareness about endometriosis, a silent yet prevalent health issue affecting millions of women worldwide. Keynote speaker Nathali Zamora, a passionate endometriosis advocate, will share her personal journey, shedding light on the challenges faced by women with endometriosis and creating a supportive space where women can come together to learn, share, and uplift one another. The event begins with a networking breakfast at 9:30 a.m. The event is presented by Better Than Me, and sponsored by Dellas Management, Lupe, and Cohesive Connextion. Register here.
