John W. Kennedy, whose book “12 Simple Words” puts the erosion of respectful, meaningful conversation at the root of growing social dysfunction, will be a guest on the trailblazing “Chris Voss Show” podcast on Aug. 25.
Kennedy, the former CEO of the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP), will bring his grounded wisdom to the top-ranked podcast, which has nearly 10 million downloads. The “Chris Voss Show” regularly features impactful guests who inspire, educate and expand perspectives, including CEOs, billionaires, astronauts, members of Congress, governors and prize-winning journalists.
“In a time where sensationalism often drowns out substance, Kennedy’s a calm reflective lift,” said Kelly Johnson, executive director of Books to Life Marketing.
“This is a conversation Chris Voss is uniquely positioned to amplify, as his show is known for exploring ideas that challenge assumptions, inspire personal growth and ignite deeper thinking,” Johnson said. “Together, they can spark a dialogue that might just change the way we speak to—and listen to—each other.”
Kennedy’s 2024 book will soon be released on audio through Reading Glass Books and he will be the featured author for the month of September at Reading Glass Books’ new location coming to Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrence.
