The New Jersey Business Immigration Coalition is seeking nominations for its annual awards recognizing impressive contributions of first-generation immigrant business leaders.
Now in its 12th year, the awards honor immigrant contributions in the following six areas: Innovation, Growth, Advocacy, Nonprofit Achievement, Rising Star, and Entrepreneur of the Year. Go here to place a nomination by the May 31 deadline.
“Throughout New Jersey’s history, immigrant entrepreneurs have helped power the state’s economic growth, technological innovation, and prosperity,” the coalition said in its announcement about the awards.
“Through their talent, risk-taking, and hard work, they have accelerated growth in emerging industries and fueled the competitiveness of existing industries. They have also helped to revitalize depressed communities.”
The 2025 winners will be honored at a special ceremony held with the Statewide Multicultural Business Expo on June 24 at the Pines Manor in Edison.
