The Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation will host an outdoor concert next month that will give donors, sponsors and supporters a chance to see the nonprofit’s mission in action as its talented scholarship recipients take the stage to demonstrate what they have learned.
The foundation, which works to remove financial barriers that limit the ability of children to take lessons in the performing arts, will hold its 2021 Scholarship Showcase at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 23 at Veterans Park in Bayville.
“This special outdoor concert will bring our performers face-to-face with the amazing supporters and donors who help make their dreams a reality,” said Jodi Grinwald, founder and CEO of the Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation. “The grand finale will feature a spectacular performance by the scholarship recipients, studio partners who provide lessons, and the AOK Performance Group.”
Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased online or in person. Guests are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show. Concessions will be available to purchase, and COVID-19 masking and social distancing rules will be followed.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held virtually and a recording of all the performances will be sent to ticketholders on June 27. To purchase tickets online, go here.
