Randal Pinkett, a diversity and inclusion expert who has founded five successful companies and is an internationally known author and speaker on business, technology, innovation and DEI, will keynote the Capital Region Minority Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Annual Equity Summit on May 18.

Since its launch in 2016, the Annual Equity Summit has been spotlighting diversity, equity, and inclusion issues that impact businesses owned by minorities, women, LGBTQ and veterans in New Jersey’s Capital Region. This year’s event, which takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on May 18 at the Conference Center at Mercer Community College, focuses on DEI for business advancement.

Pinkett, who in 2005 was the first African American to win top honors in the reality show, “The Apprentice,” is currently the chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, a global multi-million-dollar consulting, training and analytics firm that seeks to accelerate diversity and equity to create lasting change. Pinkett’s most recent book, “Data-Driven DEI,” has been hailed as an indispensable resource for managers, executives, founders, entrepreneurs and business leaders.

A Rhodes Scholar with five academic degrees, including an MBA and a doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Pinkett has appeared numerous times on networks such as MSNBC, CNN, and Fox Business News as an expert on topics ranging from business and politics, diversity and inclusion, and technology and innovation.
