The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) announced winners for the 2025 ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day Awards on Friday, recognizing the outstanding contributions of manufacturers and individuals who are driving growth, innovation, and leadership across the state’s manufacturing sector.
The five companies earning special recognition included:
- Manufacturer of the Year (Small): Lobster Life Systems (Lodi)
- Manufacturer of the Year (Medium): UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (Marlton)
- Manufacturer of the Year (Large): Legrand, Middle Atlantic (Fairfield)
- Leaders in Life Sciences: Geared Power BioGuard (Wayne)
- Innovator of the Year: KrellTech (Neptune)
NJMEP also named NJBIA Chief Government Affairs Officer Christopher Emigholz to its ‘MADE in NJ’ honor roll, celebrating individuals whose efforts have benefited the manufacturing industry.
Other joining Emigholz on the honor roll included:
- Tom Bergeron, owner/editor, BINJE
- Kelly Broznya, state director/CEO NJSBDC hosted at Rutgers Business School
- Jim Hannan, partner, Withum
- Mark Schmit, division chief, NIST Manufacturing Extension Program
- Thomas J. Williams, resource manager, NIST Manufacturing Extension Program
Lightera manager Cari August was honored with NJMEP’s Rising Star award.
