Health care employers in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset and Mercer counties are invited to participate in the Central Jersey Health Care Job Fair, which is expected to draw hundreds of prospective employees to Middlesex County College on May 9.

NJBIA is sponsoring this in-person event along with partners at the Middlesex County Workforce Development Board, Career Opportunity Office, state Department of Labor & Workforce Development, and the Home Care & Hospice Association of New Jersey.  The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 9 in West Hall’s Parkview Room at the college’s Edison campus at 2600 Woodbridge Ave.

“We anticipate jobseekers from all aspects of healthcare including certified home health aides, certified nursing assistants, nurses, physicians, medical technicians, phlebotomists, patient monitors, therapists and more,” said NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Alexis Bailey.

“We encourage all healthcare employers to take advantage of this opportunity and find the employees they need to fill both current and future positions,” Bailey said.

Middlesex County Workforce Development and Career Opportunity services remain at no cost to employers and job seekers. However, because space is limited, employer participation is on a first-come first-served basis. Any company that would like a table at the event can email Shamara Gatling-Davila at Shamara.Gatling-Davila@dol.nj.gov for further information about registering.

Participating employers will be served light breakfast refreshments at 8:30 a.m. during setup for the event.
