Carla Donegan Carla Donegan Program Officer, New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority

Carla Donegan is a Program Officer for the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority. Carla is a University of Georgia graduate who brings over fifteen years of enthusiasm and experience to creating strategic, forward-thinking partnerships.
Her commitment to breaking down barriers for those in society who are sometimes overlooked is evident in her outreach to businesses and community based organizations.

Carla works closely with Human Resource managers to ensure that all New Jersey employers are familiar with the resources and financial aid available to help strengthen New Jersey’s workforce.

Angela Tavarez Angela Tavarez Program Officer, New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority

Angela Tavarez is a Program Officer for the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority. She graduated from Seton Hall University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and has worked in advocacy and program management roles for the New Jersey Department of Human Services and the New Jersey Department of Children and Families.

As a first-generation college graduate, Angela is passionate about championing students of all ages to pursue a postsecondary degree. Her focus is on outreach to businesses and community-based organizations to help highlight the various opportunities and financial aid resources available within the Garden State.
