The Middlesex County Office of Business Engagement invites small business owners and entrepreneurs to attend a free, hands-on workshop designed to connect local businesses with the tools, programs, and guidance they need to grow and succeed.
The event, Business Resources for Success, will take place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, at the South Amboy Senior Center at 108 South Stevens Ave., South Amboy.
During this workshop, attendees will learn about:
- Available small business grants and loans
- How to access free technical assistance and professional mentorship program
- How to get certified to do business with governments in New Jersey
Featured speakers include:
- Kathy Guzman, Senior Small Business Liaison, New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA)
- Lilian Mauro, Regional Director, New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC)
- Fernando Dager, Loan Officer, Union County Economic Development Corporation (UCEDC)
- Mary Adelman, Business Counselor, Union County Economic Development Corporation (UCEDC)
Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with panelists to discuss their specific business needs and goals.
