The U.S. Senate cannot make up its mind on what to do on healthcare reform. According to Gallup, the American people aren’t so sure, either. A poll conducted last week found that 44 percent want to keep the Affordable Care Act but make changes to it, 30 percent want to repeal and replace it with a different plan, and 23 percent want to leave it as is.
“President Donald Trump has promised Americans a ‘beautiful’ healthcare bill, but Americans themselves have varying opinions on what such a bill should look like,” Gallup says. “No groundswell of support is emerging for any approach….”
