The JBIZ Expo and Conference, which bring together leaders in business and government to network, explore new markets and gain valuable insights from top-tier speakers, is set to take place on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.
This year’s event will feature panel discussions on business opportunities in the life sciences, technology, innovation, and New Jersey’s burgeoning movie industry. Attendees will also gain insights about business financing, hear from trade ministers and government officials on economic opportunities, and learn how businesses can capitalize on the impending $2 billion revenue influx from FIFA leadership as New Jersey prepares to host the 2026 World Cup finals.

Hosted by the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, sponsors include the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), Choose NJ, the U.S. Department of Treasury, World Trade Week, RWJ Barnabas Health, Ocean County, ROI-NJ, and more.
The expo will also feature a special startup pavilion, featuring a variety of innovators including RAMBAM MedTech, which has developed a series of novel medical innovations, as well as other startups in solar technology and cannabis.
The conference’s life science panel discussion will be led by Nelson Arboleda, M.D., an expert in global health initiatives who is the director of the Americas at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Global Affairs.
Lisa Oliva, deputy director & senior business advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, will discuss a financial program designed to support the funding of new businesses.
Other speakers sharing their perspectives on fostering economic growth and innovation include Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ); Eric Carney, president & CEO of RWJBarnabas Health Monmouth Medical Center; Bill Cortese, senior advisor to Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who is president-elect Donald Trump’s pick for U.S. ambassador; Randolph (Randy) Peers, president of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce; Thomas A.
