Anyone looking to make a career change, launch a business, start a nonprofit, or set new goals can find the inspiration to start their journey at an online international “changemakers” event set for Thursday.
Presented by Today is the Day LLC, “Challenge Yourself: Disrupt the Status Quo” takes place March 24 from 10:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. via the Zoom platform. Speakers will share their compelling stories about changing their mindset to overcome challenges and achieve their personal and professional goals.
The keynote is Henry F. De Sio, Jr., who is known as the global ambassador for changemakers. A leadership advisor and campaign and organizational strategist, he has served as an executive for startups as well as large, complex organizations. He is also the author of “Changemaker Playbook: The New Physics of Leadership in a World of Explosive Change.”
Additional speakers include a diverse group of TEDx speakers, CNN Heroes, CEOs, founders, authors, entrepreneurs, creators, and motivators who have all been guests on the “Today is the Day Changemakers” podcast, founded and hosted by New Jersey entrepreneur Jodi Hope Grinwald.
Grinwald says many of the changemakers who have shared their inspirational stories on her podcast have also helped her plan the March 24 event to make it as informative, uplifting, and interactive as possible for the online audience. Six different “Ignite Your Spark” breakout sessions will be offered.
