Middlesex College will host a free online workshop on Oct. 23 for food businesses to connect them with powerful resources and tools for their success.
Participants will learn how to access small business grants and loans provided by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and the New Jersey Commission on Science Innovation and Technology (CSIT), as well as technical assistance available from the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC).
Other topics include the shared-use commercial kitchen space available from South Amboy Kitchen LLC for food entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses, and information from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) about payroll, 401K, and health insurance options for small business owners.
