Newmark Associates Commercial Real Estate, one of New Jersey’s leading woman-owned commercial real estate firms, this week announced the sale of 215 Ridgewood Ave. in Florham Park to the Chabad of SE Morris County.
The 35,000-square-foot property will serve as a new learning center and community hub, providing services and resources to residents throughout the surrounding areas. The $4.8 million transaction was brokered by Susanne Newmark, president of Newmark Associates.
The acquisition by Chabad of SE Morris County reflects a continued investment in strengthening community connections, offering educational opportunities, and expanding cultural and spiritual programs in the region.
This deal holds special significance for the firm, as Newmark Associates originally sold the land on which the building was constructed close to 40 years ago. The recent transaction marks the second time the company has successfully completed a sale of this prominent site, underscoring its long-standing presence and expertise in the Morris County market.
“We are honored to have represented this sale, particularly one that will bring such meaningful educational and community resources to Florham Park and beyond,” Newmark said.
