On April 4, NJBIA will host its inaugural event for the next generation of C-suite professionals, as a complement to its groundbreaking Leadership Masterclass Series.
The “Next-Gen: The New Era of Leadership” program will be highlighted with a fireside chat between NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka and Emmy Award-winner Steve Adubato, Ph.D., creator and host of “Lessons in Leadership,” which airs on News 12+.
The event will be held at the Molly Pitcher Inn, in Red Bank, starting at 8 a.m.
“The next generation of C-suite leaders are bringing a fresh set of approaches and priorities to businesses,” Siekerka said. “This will be a great discussion on how collaborative leadership, data-based decision making, social impact and other traits make up the next-gen C-suite leader.”
“Instagram and X may be fun while you are scrolling, but beyond that, our next generation of leaders have an opportunity to develop their skills in relationship building, problem-solving, and collaborating with others. Combining technology with ‘old-school’ human interaction are the keys to succeeding for our next-gen C-suite leaders,” said Adubato, who has authored six books including his latest, “Lessons in Leadership 2.0: The Tough Stuff.”
The event will also feature a panel discussion entitled “Leading Through Uncertainty: Executive Presence and Personal Branding,” presented by Daniel Klim, president & CEO of the New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association, Cyndie Williams, executive director, Carpenter Contractor Trust, and Dr. Taneice Lewis, Motivational Speaker, Business Coach and author of “Pray for Rain.”
