NJBIA’s “Minding Your Business,” a weekly business show that airs on News 12+, has been named the recipient of three 2022 Telly Awards.

The Telly Awards, which have honored excellence in video and television across all screens since 1979, announced winners in all categories on Tuesday.

“Minding Your Business” was recognized for two awards in the General Information – Television category for one episode featuring a segment on post-Election Day impacts on New Jersey business and an interview with celebrity chef David Burke; and another featuring a discussion on the NJ Pathways program and an interview with Razu owner Marc Saint-Ulysse.

That segment with Saint-Ulysse, spotlighting the Buy Black Initiative conceived by the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Financial, also earned an award in the General Information – D&I category.

NJBIA Chief Communications Officer Bob Considine, who serves as host and executive producer of “Minding Your Business,” thanked the show’s sponsors – AT&T, New Jersey Business Magazine and NJ Pathways – for their continued support, News 12+ and all guests who have appeared on the show.

“A special note of thanks to our producer/director Vinnie Civitillo for all of his dedication, patience, handiwork and presence of mind to permanently delete outtakes,” Considine said. “Also a big thanks to NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka and CFO Alice Gens for giving this new communications venture a chance.”

NJBIA’s “Minding Your Business” was launched in late 2020, mixing conversations with New Jersey business owners and leaders and regular discussions on New Jersey business policy featuring NJBIA’s Government Affairs team.

The show airs on News 12+ at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, as well as 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

News 12+ is available on most Fios and Optimum systems in New Jersey, or it can be streamed live on the News 12+ page here.
