Small business owners can find out about state and federal programs that can help their companies grow during New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s “Show Me the Resources” event on Friday at Rowan College of Burlington County in Mount Laurel.
The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will feature workshops and exhibits that highlight the resources available to small New Jersey businesses. Go here to register to attend this free event.
NJEDA staff and government partners will be available to share information on programs for small businesses, clean energy, arts and culture, the growing New Jersey film industry, and more. Presentations will be given on the following topics at these times:
- 9:30 a.m. – Grants and Loans for Small Businesses (presented by NJEDA)
- 10 a.m. – Grants and Loans from NJEDA (presentado en Español)
- 10:30 a.m. – Resources and Advocacy available from the NJ Business Action Center
- 11 a.m. – Registering a Small Business and Obtaining MBE/WBE Business Certifications (presented by state Treasury and Taxation officials)
- 11:30 a.m. – Free Technical Assistance and Education for Small Business Owners (presented by New Jersey Small Business Development Center)
- 12 p.m. – Introduction to Lending for Small Businesses with U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs)
