The Monmouth Ocean Development Council is seeking nominations for its 2024 Silver Gull Awards, honoring individuals, corporations and organizations that are making a difference in the way business is done at the Jersey Shore.
Nominations must be submitted online to MODC no later than Dec. 11, 2023. Awards will be made in the following categories: Community Service, Economic Development, Tourism Achievement, Nonprofit of the Year, Emerging Changemaker (40 and under), Changemaker.
Awards recognize individuals, companies and organizations in the region for accomplishments in economic development, community service and tourism. MODC members will be given preference in the judging process, but non-MODC members are also eligible to receive awards.
The honorees will be recognized at the 59th Silver Gull Awards Dinner, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale. To learn more about the awards and read about the 2023 Silver Gull Award winners, go here.
All nominations for the 2024 awards must be submitted using the MODC’s online Google form found here, including the “statement of support” detailing the nominee’s qualifications and achievements.
