Small and medium-sized business owners can learn how to better prepare and compete in tomorrow’s economy by attending the Business Resource Symposium on Monday hosted by the Rutgers Business School and NJ Small Business Development Centers. 

This free event takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, June 30 at Rutgers Business School’s Newark campus in the Bove Auditorium. Register online here. 

The forward-looking symposium is focused on economic changes, talent pipelines, and global market conditions facing businesses. Panel discussions will explore:  

  • Rutgers Business School resources that leverage faculty expertise, student talent, and strategic projects to boost your business; 
  • New lender loan products and regulations; 
  • Free federal and state programs to help start, grow, and scale a business. 

Speakers include: Tendai D. Ndoro, regional director, New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at Rutgers University–Newark; supply chain management expert and Rutgers Business School Dean Lei Lei; Rutgers University–Newark Interim Chancellor Jeffrey Robinson; and NJ Manufacturing Program (NJMEP) CEO Peter Connolly.
