Industry experts will explore how New Jersey can attract and retain residents and businesses, modernize transportation and utility infrastructure, address housing affordability and more at an upcoming symposium hosted by the Rutgers Business School Center for Real Estate.
“New Jersey at a Crossroads: How and Where Do We Grow from Here?” presented in conjunction Sills Cummis & Gross PC, will take place Tuesday, March 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at The Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center in New Brunswick. The program will also feature discussions on regional planning challenges in a state with 564 municipalities with a strong home-rule ethos and a myriad array of state regulations, climate change and flooding issues, reshoring manufacturing to the U.S., and meeting the state’s energy needs for power-intensive AI, quantum computing and crypto businesses.
The Rutgers Business School Center for Real Estate works to expand knowledge through its research on issues related to the real estate profession and economy. The center engages industry and state policymakers on critical issues through topical lectures, seminars, and conferences. The Center also enables Rutgers students to gain rewarding internship and career opportunities through introductions to industry leaders and networking opportunities.
