New Jersey Congressman Tom Kean Jr., who was recently sworn into his first term of office in the U.S. House of Representatives, will be the guest speaker at the next NJBIA Government Affairs Policy Committee on Friday, Feb. 10.

Kean is a Republican who represents New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, which includes all of Hunterdon and Warren counties and parts of Morris, Somerset, Sussex and Union counties. Prior to his election to Congress last November, Kean served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2001-2003 and the state Senate from 2003-2022, including 14 years as the Senate GOP Minority Leader.
