NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka is among the prominent leaders recently named to South Jersey Biz’s 2025 Power 50 list, which recognizes the state’s most influential decision-makers in government and business.
"A business landscape as rich and varied as South Jersey’s needs all kinds of talent, expertise and leadership guiding its myriad components to reach its full potential and support the ongoing success that makes this region a great place to work and play," the magazine said. "Those leaders include educators and executives, CEOs and chairs, and all kinds of dreamers and doers who keep the big picture front and center."
Siekerka leads the nation’s most influential employers’ organization, advocating on behalf of New Jersey’s large and small businesses for policies that will make New Jersey more affordable and regionally competitive.
Known as a collaborative leader, Siekerka leads the NJBIA-established New Jersey Business Coalition, comprised of more than 100 business and nonprofit associations, that was initially formed to tackle the tough economic and business challenges faced during COVID-19.
Today the coalition remains strong, banding together on policy issues affecting those it serves as well as our statewide economy.
Well-versed in the “boots on the ground” issues affecting the state’s business community, Siekerka is often the “go to” resource for media and is sought after to share her expertise in public forums across the state.
