NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka has been named to this year’s Insider 100 Power List, a ranking of New Jersey’s most influential political and public policy leaders that is compiled each year by the news website, Insider NJ.

Insider NJ ranked Siekerka at No. 39 on the 2025 Power List, noting her decade’s worth of experience and accomplishments at NJBIA "defending the business community’s interests in a state fraught with high corporate taxes and legislative challenges.”

“During the 2025 gubernatorial election, she presented NJBIA’s ‘Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey' to both candidates, offering their solutions to a multitude of tax, education, labor, insurance, and regulatory concerns facing the state,” Insider NJ wrote.

Insider NJ said Siekerka skillfully navigates political circles and is known for bringing strategic insights to policymaking. She leads NJBIA’s partnership with the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) and chairs the Conference of State Manufacturers, a network of 50 state-based manufacturing partners working closely with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) to advance smart policies.

The annual Insider 100 Power List, which generally excludes elected officials, former governors and judges, shines a spotlight instead on “the backbone of government and political power in the state of New Jersey,” wrote Insider NJ editor-in-chief Max Pizarro.
