Stateside Affairs, a minority- and women-owned public relations firm, is celebrating nine years in business in conjunction with New Jersey’s inaugural Diverse Business Month.

Since its founding, Stateside Affairs has made significant strides in both digital and traditional media, serving a wide array of clients ranging from political and advocacy campaigns to private and public entities across the nation.

“Celebrating nine years in business alongside New Jersey’s inaugural Diverse Business Month, Stateside Affairs is proud of the significant strides we have made as a minority- and woman-owned public relations and government affairs firm,” said President & CEO Cristina Pinzon.

“Our journey has been marked by hard work, dedication, and the rewarding experience of breaking glass ceilings. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all minority-owned businesses during this momentous month,” Pinzon said.

Over the past nine years, the firm has garnered numerous awards and recognitions showcasing its dedication to excellence in public relations and communications. Stateside Affairs was named the No. 1 Minority-owned Business in NJBIZ’s 2023 Reader Rankings and earned several prestigious Stevie awards for social media and ethics.

Additionally, Pinzon was honored as one of New Jersey’s top 150 business leaders at ROI-NJ’s Champions of the C-Suite Gala and named to Insider NJ’s Millennial 100 Power List.

Businesses owned by people of color, women, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community play a vital role in New Jersey’s economy. People of color own 21.7% of businesses in the state, while women and veterans own 39.6% and 4.2% respectively. However, despite their significant economic impact, diverse-owned businesses face growth challenges, including limited access to capital.

Stateside Affairs continues to lead with integrity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence, championing the growth and recognition of diverse-owned businesses in New Jersey and beyond, Pinzon said.

To promote its mission, Stateside Affairs is asking New Jersey residents to support the firm in NJBIZ’s 2024 Reader Rankings here. Nominations close on Aug. 4
