The New Jersey Community College Consortium is seeking input from businesses in its annual Manufacturing Skills Initiative Survey, aimed at gathering information about your hiring needs, the timing of your hiring, and the skills and credentials that are required of new hires.
The survey results will be used to develop training programs that will better match qualified candidates with job opportunities.
This initiative is based on a strategic partnership between New Jersey’s Community Colleges, the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP), the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA), and other education and workforce development partners that are connected to the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Industry Partnerships. The goal is to provide a comprehensive and structured approach to manufacturing workforce development that responds to the unique needs of New Jersey’s manufacturers. The survey should take 5-10 minutes.
