On July 17, NJBIA and the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP), provided an update on the latest policy developments impacting New Jersey manufacturing, including the $500 million manufacturing tax credit bill passed by the Legislature and the partial restoration of funding for NJMEP in the new state budget that took effect July 1.
Speakers discussed eligibliting criteria, tax credit structure, bonus credit opportunities and the collective efforts of NJBIA, NJMEP and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) to drive manufacturing investment.
