On this past weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, Thomas Roskop, Chair of the Department of Engineering at the County College of Morris, talked with host Bob Considine about the growing interest in Robotics and Automation at New Jersey’s community colleges through the New Jersey Pathways to Career Opportunities Initiative.
“One of the important parts about being a community college is we have to listen to our community,” Roskop said.
“So we were talking to our manufacturers and automation kept coming up… and we really kind of thought to ourselves, really, there’s not much there for students and we’ve already got a robust program in manufacturing so what can we do to amplify that by getting into automation and robotics as well?”
