On this past weekend’s ‘Minding Your Business,’ NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Christopher Emigholz took a deep dive into Gov. Phil Murphy’s proposed, $48.9 billion budget for FY23 – discussing where it hits the mark and where it misses for New Jersey businesses and the economy.
Emigholz told host Bob Considine there are definite steps toward fiscal responsibility as part of the budget, but there is also little to help businesses in the state.
“Business is hard in New Jersey and I don’t think we see enough this budget to make it more affordable,” Emigholz said.
NJBIA’s “Minding Your Business” is a weekly TV show that airs on News 12+ at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, and on 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
