On this past weekend’s episode of “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Althea D. Ford joined Bob Considine to discuss the investments that have been made in childcare in New Jersey, but where challenges still very much remain.
“If you think about it, ultimately, childcare is the industry that undergirds every industry,” Ford said.
“And so if we are wanting to be deliberate about ensuring our economic viability in the state, we need an all-hands-on-deck approach. Every individual needs to be able to contribute meaningfully to our economy; and that includes working parents.”
