On this past weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, RWJBarnabas Health’s System Director of Addiction Medicine for the Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Services Dr. Alexis LaPietra joined Bob Considine to discuss substance abuse impacts that can affect people from all walks of life.
LaPietra, who also serves as Medical Director for RWJ Barnabas Health’s Institute for Prevention and Recovery, discussed the many programs available to those suffering from addictions, and overcoming stigmas and cultural information that often serve as barriers to addiction care.
