In this video from Day Two of NJBIA’s 2025 New Jersey Women Business Leaders Forum, NJBIA recognized Junior Achievement of New Jersey President & CEO James Horne Jr., and South Jersey Industries President & CEO Mike Renna for their exemplary leadership.
Horne, a mission-driven nonprofit executive, was honored with the NJBIA Community Impact Award for his work preparing young people for financial success. He has successfully expanded JANJ’s reach, deepened corporate and education partnerships and advanced programming that equips students to thrive.
Renna, who leads one of New Jersey’s most prominent energy infrastructure companies, was recognized with NJBIA’s inaugural Good Guy Award, for his strong support of diversity of thought on his leadership team and board, as well as his demonstrated commitment to nurturing the growth of next-generation leaders, especially women.
Christina Renna, President & CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, accepted the award on Renna’s behalf.
The 11th Annual WBLF drew more than 500 attendees for the two-day event Sept. 17-18 in Somerset to be inspired by TED-style talks, multiple breakout sessions led by expert panelists and numerous networking opportunities. The WBLF has been helping women build successful careers and diversity in the C-suite and boardroom since 2015.
