Putting People First In this TED-style talk from NJBIA's 2025 Women Business Leaders Forum, Kristina Nicoles shares the “Holman Way,” a philosophy for creating a business culture that does the “right thing" for employees, customers, and the community.
“Our people-first mindset it isn’t just a philosophy, it’s the foundation of everything we do,” said Nicoles, the president and chief administrative officer at Holman, a global automotive services company that has experienced phenomenal growth in the 100 years since Steward Holman founded the business, saying people are his most important asset.
“If putting people first is the what, the ‘Holman Way’ is the how,” Nicoles said. “The Holman Way is a set of values and principles that guides every decision we make as an organization to ensure that we are fulfilling our purpose to provide a rewarding career and better life for our partners (employees) and our families. That is why we exist.”
