Please join the Ocean County Employer Legislative Committee a presentation by Assemblyman Edward H. “Ned” Thompson. The meeting begins 8:30 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Toms River.

Assemblyman Edward H. “Ned” Thomson began his legislative career in 2017 and was subsequently re-elected in the fall of that year. He represents the 30th Legislative District which is comprised of 14 towns in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

He serves as a member of the Assembly Budget, Education and Telecommunications and Utilities Committees.

Prior to joining the Legislature, Assemblyman Thomson was a Trustee of the New Jersey Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) for more than 20 years. He also served on the Wall Township Committee for a decade where he was twice elected Mayor.

A lifelong resident of Monmouth County, Assemblyman Thomson has three grown children and resides in Wall Township with his wife, Sandi.
