Jaime Wynn, president of Jimmy Choo Americas, will deliver the keynote address to aspiring women entrepreneurs at Berkeley College’s “Power to Empower: Paying it Forward in Business” on Oct. 18 as part of the celebration of the college’s 9th annual Women’s Entrepreneurship Week.

Since 2015, WEW has elevated the voices of women on topics including advancing gender equity, fixing the broken rungs of the career ladder, and converting pivotal moments into opportunities. This year’s event, of which NJBIA is a partner, will feature leaders in business and media who will share resources with aspiring entrepreneurs.

The entrepreneurship panel discussion, moderated by Berkeley College Provost Patricia Greer, will include Kim Baker, CEO and founder, GLAMAZON Beauty; WyQuasia King-Thomas, senior director of Merchandising, Francesca’s Clothing Boutiques; Maryann Pagano, CEO, BlackHawk Data LLC; and radio personality Shelley Wade, of New York City’s 94.7 The Block.

The event, which includes a networking breakfast, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Oct. 18 at the college’s Renaissance Hall, 44 Rifle Camp Road in Woodland Park, and via livestream. Tania Mottos, a Berkeley College student who was recently honored by NJBIA with a Rising Star Award, will welcome attendees prior to the opening remarks from Berkeley College President Diane Recinos.

Wynn, the keynote speaker, is a Berkeley College alumna and seasoned corporate strategy leader who joined the Jimmy Choo business in 2016 as vice president of Sales and Planning before becoming the company’s president in 2021.

Wynn’s more than 25 years of experience spans global brand businesses and multiple product categories, including 12 years serving in various leadership roles at the Jones Group where she successfully managed out the Ralph Lauren licensed business and launched the Jones NY Signature brand, reaching half a billion dollars in revenue.
