To bring more visibility to our members and the business issues surrounding them, NJBIA produces “Minding Your Business,” a weekly television show that airs weekends on News 12+. The show, a winner of two 2023 Telly Awards, is hosted by Bob Considine and highlights different member businesses each week. It can be seen on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

On this episode of Minding Your Business, NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka continued her ‘Year of the Business Owner’ tour with a visit to The Dance Centre in South Toms River. TDC Owner Sheri Daknis told Siekerka her inspiring story of trying to grow a family business in challenging times, the help she received from her municipality and from NJBIA, her business’ impact on the community and how dance can plant the seeds for workforce development among young students.
Also on this edition, Integris CEO Rashaad Bajwa gave a very insightful presentation about the tricky balance of defining work culture and productivity in the workplace in a post-COVID world.
