NJBIA Chief Government Affairs Officer Chrissy Buteas was profiled as a ‘Barrier Breaker’ as part of Jersey’s Best magazine’s Spring edition on New Jersey’s trailblazing women, which was released this week.
In a story written by Amy Byrnes, Buteas credited her experience as a three-sport athlete and a walk-on at Rowan University’s field hockey as shaping the tenacity she’s tapped into to advance her career.
Buteas also preached the need for diversity in policymaker leadership to ensure all groups are represented.
“That diversity is important to have good public policy as a result,” Buteas said.
